Logo (re) Design
The Galilee Center is a non-profit organization in the lower Coachella Valley that helps undocumented migrant workers with shelter, food, clothing, rental assistance, infant supplies, and community resources.
Their logo was not reflecting the local Coachella Valley mountain range, and looked a bit like “chicken feet.” No one on staff had a large file, nor a .png of it.
The Board of Directors did not want to change the logo too much, as the local community was already familiar with it. In addition, re-branding their marketing materials and two large donation trucks would be expensive.
The new logo was updated so that the mountains reflected more of the scenic landscape in the Coachella Valley, as well as being easy to recognize by the community. The large donation trucks only needed a fraction of their logos re-covered with a sticker. A branding package was provided so that the staff had access to large file .pngs, a colour palette, and fonts.
